Child Welfare Council Logo Contest
The California Child Welfare Council (CWC) invites all youth, ages 21 or younger, who have experiences with the foster care system, to create a logo for the CWC. The logo will be used on all materials developed by the CWC, including letterhead, brochures, and posters.
The CWC has 53 members that include leaders from all three branches of state government (Executive, Legislative, and the Courts) as well as county leaders, current and former foster youth, child and parent attorneys, and researchers.
The goals of the CWC are to:
· Improve how agencies that help children work together;
· Improve programs that serve children and their families;
· Create and support policies and laws that affect children in foster care; and
· Make sure there are enough resources to support the work of programs that help children.
The logo should reflect these goals, and should especially reflect the fact that the CWC consists of 3 branches of government working together to improve the lives of children.
The submission period is now closed. The Council is considering the entries submitted. Watch this page for an update.
